Homeowners Association Covenants

Following lengthy discussions with residents of Cheverly and residents of neighboring communities, our view is that the covenants in use in Cheverly work well and have, for the most part, since Cheverly’s founding in 1918.  Thus, a significant portion of Cheverly West covenants reflects a restatement of the existing Town of Cheverly code.  Additionally, to ensure that future residences compliment the design styles of the existing two residences, a design review board is provided for under the covenants.  The covenants also incorporate more rigorous lawn and landscaping maintenance requirements than exist in Cheverly. Following the sale of the entirety of the lots and/or homes by Cheverly West’s developer, the covenants may be modified with the support of two-thirds of homeowners. Initial HOA dues will be set at $48.75/month, as reflected in the budget shown below.
